| Fraser Valley Council offers five one week camps each summer from the middle of July to the middle of August and a Spring Break Camp march 8th to 12th.
Each week can handle 64 Cubs who sleep in cabins with wooden bunks (8 bunks per cabin).
For staffing each of the weeks we use Venturers (14-17 yr olds) for cabin leaders and camp chief’s staff. A number of adults attend each week taking on the jobs of Camp Chief, Deputy Camp Chief, First Aider (who have St. John’s Standard) and Program Coordinators.
A fun filled week of activities such as archery, canoeing, handicrafts and swimming, not to forget wide games, a visit from local fire department, and an outing to Splashdown Waterslides. A campfire will be held each night as well.
Who Can Attend?
Youth who will be turning 9, 10 or 11 in 2010 are eligible to attend (Cub aged youth).
The Beavers swimming up to the pack in the Spring of 2010 are not eligible. This event does not require the Pack Scouters and Cubs to all attend. It is a parent and Cub choice of which week works the best for them.
We do need helpers, part and full time, during each of the weeks in the summer.
