B-P GUILDS, A Short Version

Retention: The art of retaining the things you wish to do but do not have the same amount of  time to do it in.

That's what a B-P Guild offers you; the ability to retain your Scouting and/or Guiding friends, your desire to maintain your hand in Scouting or Guiding and you do it all without attending a uniform section every week.

The B-P Guild accepts as members not only previous Scouters, but sanctioned people still in the Movement, committee people, parents, and in fact anyone regardless of whether or not they have been Scouters, who will uphold and further the Aims & Principles of the Guild. The B-P Guild has as its first objective the bringing together once again all of those who shared the fun, fellowship and service we knew and enjoyed.

All B-P Guild members are members of the Canadian Fellowship of B-P Guilds which is, a member of the International Scout & Guide Fellowship (ISGF) and affiliated with Scouts Canada.

A Guild can be formed by getting together a minimum of 5 like minded people. This group would then register for membership in the Canadian Fellowship of B-P Guilds. If accepted, they would be issued a number and a charter.

An Individual person can also register as a member-at-large with the Canadian Fellowship.

Whether you are a busy person and have little time to spare, or whether you have time on your hands, you should join a B-P Guild, and so remain linked with a fraternity of like-minded readily acceptable people.
